As we observe the actions of our elected representatives, we're often disappointed by the positions they take on matters important to us. Even when the candidate we vote for gets elected, we often feel abandoned as soon as they start to govern.
Picking a candidate is, more often than not, a crap shoot. So many qualities must be evaluated to determine who can best represent us. And, most candidates are complete unknowns to the majority of voters. We barely have time in our lives to really get to know our neighbors and friends. Of course, before we know whether we can even believe what a politician says, we need to be able to judge their honesty, sincerity, and intelligence. We've all experienced the bait-and-switch so common in politics.
Such is the political process . . . until now. What if you could vote for a known quantity who believes as you do. Not just someone of good character who has proven himself in all other aspects of his life. But, someone who has demonstrated himself to be a man of the people and a true leader. Someone who has shown courage, wisdom, and compassion already while governing. Well, that's what the good people of the 4th Congressional district of Kentucky have in Thomas Massie. If only we had a Thomas Massie to vote for. Our choice for Congress has not been that easy . . . until now.
